NYSE Member Firms Report First-Quarter 2008 Results
New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported a first-quarter 2008 after-tax loss of $14.50 billion and revenues of $49.42 billion, compared with $3.03 billion in after-tax profits on revenues of $89.84 billion in first quarter 2007. Chicago Climate Futures Exchange® Sets New Daily Volume Record For Carbon Financial Instrument® (CFI®) Futures Contracts
Chicago Climate Futures Exchange, LLC (CCFE®), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chicago Climate Exchange, Inc. (CCX®), announced today that on June 2, 2008, CCFE established a new record for total daily volume in CCFE CFI futures, with 1,015 contracts traded (1,015,000 metric tons CO2), surpassing the previous record set on May 27th when 622 contracts traded.
