Euroclear Bank’s DerivManager Links With DTCC’s Deriv/SERV Trade Information Warehouse
Euroclear Bank has today launched a link between its DerivManager OTC derivatives service and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) Trade Information Warehouse, a service offering of DTCC’s Deriv/SERV unit that currently covers over-the-counter (OTC) credit derivatives contracts. DerivManager aims to both minimise counterparty disputes involving trade valuation and optimise collateral usage to cover exposures arising from all types of OTC derivatives contracts.

First Day Of CER Options On ECX - ECX Reports Opening Trade Between BNP Paribas And orbeo
European Climate Exchange (ECX) launched the ICE ECX CER Options Contract, based on its successful ICE ECX CER Futures Contract, last Friday 16 May. The first CER options trade was a put option at a strike price of €14 transacted between BNP Paribas and orbeo at 15:50 hours UK local time for 250 lots (equivalent to 250,000 tonnes CERs). The deal was brokered by Tullett Prebon.

Eurex Halves Latency Of Its Trading System With New Interface - Another Key Milestone Reached On The Eurex Technology Roadmap - New ETS Data Interface Achieves Average Roundtrip Times Of Five Milliseconds
With the successful roll-out of its optional interface “Enhanced Transaction Solution” (ETS) on 14 April 2008, Eurex has achieved another key milestone on the Eurex Technology Roadmap launched at the end of 2006. Since the interface was launched, average roundtrip times of future orders for users of this access option have been reduced to five milliseconds, halving the times previously achieved via the traditional MISS interface. London Stock Exchange To Establish Equity Research Service For Smaller Companies - Exchange To Consult On Additional Measures To Promote Liquidity
The London Stock Exchange today announces the establishment of a new service to offer equity research on smaller quoted companies. PSQ Analytics, as the venture will be called, will be available to companies on AIM as well as smaller companies on the Main Market, and will provide information that improves investor understanding of their businesses.

HKEx: Moment Of Silence In Trading Hall For Sichuan Earthquake Victims
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will observe a three-minute period of silence with all Exchange Participants in the Trading Hall at 2:28 pm today (Monday) as a sign of respect for those who died as a result of the earthquake in Sichuan last Monday. The brief ceremony will be led by HKEx Chairman Ronald Arculli and Chief Executive Paul Chow.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Donates 3.09 Million Yuan To Quake-stricken Areas
On Monday, May 12, at 2.28 p.m. Beijing time (6:28 GMT), a strong earthquake attacked Wenchuan County in the southwest Sichuan Province.
