CBOE To Begin Trading Binary Options On S&P 500® Index (SPX<SUP>SM</SUP>) And CBOE Volatility Index® (VIX®)
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced plans to begin trading binary options contracts on the S&P 500 Index (SPX) and on the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX). The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved CBOE's rule filing to list binary options on broad-based indexes on May 22, 2008, and trading is scheduled to start on July 1.

FESE Sends A Letter To The SEC On Mutual Recognition And The Revision Of Exchange Act Rule 15a-6

CFTC Committee To Discuss Energy Markets - Industry Participants To Provide Views On Key Energy Issues, Including Index Trading And Energy Trading On Foreign Boards Of Trade
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC or Commission) will convene the first meeting of its Energy Markets Advisory Committee on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, to receive input from a variety of sources on key energy market issues.
