The NZX Board has determined that NZX Limited will pay a dividend of 25 cents per share, fully imputed, for the year ending 31 December 2008. The dividend payment will occur on May 15, 2009.

President Obama Announces Key Treasury Appointments
Today, President Obama announced his intent to nominate the following individuals for key posts at the Treasury Department: David S. Cohen, Assistant Secretary of Treasury, Terrorist Financing; Alan B. Krueger, Assistant Secretary of Treasury, Economic Policy; and Kim N. Wallace, Assistant Secretary of Treasury, Legislative Affairs. Each of the nominees is currently serving as a Counselor to the Secretary of Treasury.

Fee Rate Advisory #4 For Fiscal Year 2009
The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal year 2009 since Oct. 1, 2008, is being extended through March 11, 2009. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

SEC Approves Exemptions Allowing ICE US Trust LLC To Operate As Central Counterparty For Credit Default Swaps
The Securities and Exchange Commission today took action to help improve transparency in the multi-trillion dollar credit default swap market by approving conditional exemptions that will allow ICE US Trust LLC to operate as a central counterparty for clearing credit default swaps.
