CME Group Announces European Union Allowance And Certified Emission Reduction Futures On CME Globex®
CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced that its new In Delivery Month European Union Allowance (EUA) and Certified Emission Reduction (CER) futures contracts will be available for trading on CME Globex beginning on July 11 for trade date July 13. These contracts are listed for trading by NYMEX and are subject to NYMEX rules and regulations.

NASDAQ Announces Mid-Month Open Short Interest Positions In NASDAQ Stocks As Of Settlement Date June 15, 2009
At the end of the settlement date of June 15, 2009, short interest in 2,471 NASDAQ Global Market(sm) securities totaled 6,529,174,605 shares compared with 6,492,782,579 shares in 2,481 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of May 29, 2009. The mid-June short interest represents 2.99 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.03 days for the prior reporting period.
