Key Figures SIX Swiss Exchange And Scoach Switzerland September 2009
In September 2009, cumulative turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange and Scoach Switzerland amounted to CHF 95.93 billion, 9.4 % more than in August 2009. The total number of transactions eased by a mere 0.1 % to 2,658,798. The trend in ETF trading remained gratifying: turnover increased to CHF 4.5 billion, a 23.8 % gain compared to August 2009. MGEX Opens Fiscal Year With New September Volume And Open Interest Records
MGEX (“the Exchange”) today announced strong September 2009 growth in its Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) futures and options volume and open interest numbers. Total September volume increased 11 percent over the same period last year to 123,826 contracts traded versus 111,381 in September 2008. CBOE September Daily Volume Averages 4.7 Million Contracts - Monthly Trading Volume Up From August 2009, Down From Record September 2008
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today reported that trading volume during September 2009 averaged 4.7 million contracts per day, a rise of six percent from August 2009 average daily volume (ADV) of 4.4 million contracts.CBOE September ADV experienced a 22-percent decline from ADV of 6.1 million contracts in September 2008, the most active September and second-highest volume month ever at CBOE.
