Charles P. Carey Elected CBOT's First Vice Chairman New Members Of Board Of Directors, Nominating Committee Elected
In the Chicago Board of Trade annual elections yesterday, Charles P. Carey was elected First Vice Chairman, to serve a two-year term. E-Mini Nasdaq 100 Continues To Set Volume, Open Interest Records
New volume and open interest records were set yesterday in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's E-mini Nasdaq 100 Index® futures, which traded 11,031 contracts on Tuesday, Dec. 7, the first time volume in the five-month-old product exceeded the 10,000 contract level.

CHX Sets New Monthly Volume Records In November - Trade Volume Up 129 Percent From November 1998 - Share Volume Up 92 Percent From Last November - Otc Monthly Trade Volume Exceeds 1 Million
The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) continued its drive toward unprecedented yearly volume with a record-breaking November. Total trade volume for the month finished at a monthly record 3,367,729, up 129 percent from last November. Total share volume increased 92 percent from November 1998, ending at 1,577,512,613, also a record for a single month. In addition, the CHX set a new record for single-day share volume, trading 92,811,670 shares on November 17.

New IPE Board Directors Announced
The IPE announced the results of its Board elections at its Annual General Meeting held this afternoon. Two Directors were re-elected for a second three-year term. These were Andrew Gooch, Managing Director of Credit Lyonnais Rouse Limited Commodities division and Chris Moorhouse, Chief Executive of BP Oil International Trading.

Neuer Markt Enters Year 2000 With 200 Companies On Board - 200th Company Is French - 1999 Record Year On Neuer Markt - Biggest Growth Market In Europe
With the listing of the French company Integra on Tuesday, Neuer Markt now has 200 companies on board. The large number of new issues from Germany and abroad in 1999, as well as the market capitalization, stock-exchange turnover and issue volumes, have made 1999 a record year for Neuer Markt.
