NYSE Floor Brokers Get New Tools To Trade Algorithmically And Locate Deep Liquidity - Combination Of High-Tech And High-Touch Benefits Brokers’ Customers
The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), is rolling out two new technologies that, respectively, give brokers on the NYSE trading floor the ability to trade algorithmically, and strengthen the brokers’ ability to locate large sources of liquidity.

Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index To Underlie Exchange-Traded Fund
Dow Jones Indexes has licensed the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index to Samsung Investments, a leading Korean investment management company, to serve as underlying for an exchange-traded fund (ETF) in Korea. This is the first time the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index is licensed to underlie an ETF.

NYMEX to Launch Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) CO2 Allowance Futures, Options Contracts As Part Of Its Green Exchange Venture
The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., a subsidiary of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NMX), today announced that it will launch a Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) carbon dioxide allowance futures contract on August 24, for the August 25 trade date. It will also list a RGGI options contract for trade date August 26. The listing of these products on NYMEX is a Green Exchange initiative, which will provide a trading platform for environmental commodities.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange: Lifting Of Extraordinary Clearing Margin For Crude Oil And Gasoline (Imposed On 7/18)
Based on Item 3.3.2 of the Regulations Governing Management of the Oil Market, since the final contract prices for all contract months (excluding contract months with no applicable price limit) have not reached the price limit for three consecutive business days, the Extraordinary Clearing Margin for new positions in the Crude Oil and Gasoline markets, imposed on and after July 18, will be lifted on and after July 29.

Tokyo Stock Exchange Announces Intent To Expand TOPIX Series With The Introduction Of "Composite Index Series"
The Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) today has announced its intention to launch a composite index series including the "TOPIX Composite 1500" later this year in an effort to enhance index usability. The TSE will begin calculating indices that adopt domestic classified stocks, foreign stocks with exclusive listings on the TSE, and domestic preferred subscription certificates into the index universe.
