Osaka Securities Exchange Obtains Credit Rating
OSE is pleased to announce that it has newly obtained the following credit rating from Rating and Investment Information Inc. (R&I) on April 28, 2009. It is the first Japanese exchange/clearing organization to obtain a credit rating.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange Launches Trading System - Powered By NASDAQ OMX Technology - System Has The World's Highest Level Of Performance And Functionality In Line With International Practices
Tokyo Commodity Exchange Inc. (TOCOM or “the Exchange”) announced today that TOCOM has gone live with a new trading system based on the suite of trading and clearing platforms provided by The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ). The new system started accepting orders at 8:30 am and the day session started at 9:00 am on schedule.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange Launches Trading System Powered By NASDAQ OMX Technology
The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) and Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) reported today that TOCOM has gone live with a new trading system from NASDAQ OMX. TOCOM is NASDAQ OMX's first Japanese customer to operate a system based on its technology. The launch, which took place today, was successful and received positive acknowledgement from TOCOM trading participants and the investing public.

Trading Volume At TurkDEX Hits A New Record High
On May 05, 2009 TurkDEX’s equity index futures contracts’ total daily trading volume hit a new record high. By the end of the session the trading volume totaled 2,010,299,852 TRY (about 1.28 billion USD). The previous record was set on April 30, 2009 with the trading volume totaling 2,003,507,700 TRY.

BATS Exchange Reports Market Share Results In The US And Europe For April - BATS Exchange Earns 10.01% Matched Market Share; - BATS Europe Reaches One-Day Market Share Highs
BATS Global Markets, an innovative global financial markets technology company, reported that BATS Exchange recorded average matched daily volume in all U.S. securities of 1.122 billion shares per day in April, an increase of about 94 percent from 580 million shares in April 2008.

BOX Organizes Successful OIC, Increases Trading Volume
BOX hosted the 2009 Options Industry Conference (OIC) this past weekend in Weston, Florida. Despite a challenging economic environment, this year’s OIC was well attended with over 400 attendees and the largest number of exhibitors (24) in OIC history.

European Parliament: New Rules To Avoid Future Financial Crisis - Capital Requirements Directives
The European Parliament adopted a legislative report by Othmar Karas (EPP-ED, AT) which amends the "Capital Requirements" Directives to improve the transparency and the supervision of the financial system to ensure proper risk management in the banking sector. The legislative resolution was adopted with 454 votes in favour, 106 against and 25 abstentions.

Statement Of New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo On Pension Fund Actions As To Aldus Equity
Pension funds across the country are now taking appropriate steps to clean up abuses. The recent actions with respect to Aldus Equity by pension funds in New York, Connecticut, New Mexico, and Texas are the latest examples.
