ARIP PCL, publisher of printed and digital media and exhibition organizer, will list on Thailand’s Market for Alternative Investment (mai) and start trading on December 2, after raising funds of THB124.56 million (approx. USD4.15 million), using “ARIP” as its trading symbol, revealed mai President Chanitr Charnchainarong.
ARIP has over 20 years of experience in publication, including producing and distributing leading management, marketing and IT magazines. ARIP also organize very popular consumer-oriented IT product exhibitions, e.g., COMMART, which is organized three times a year, or exhibitions and seminars nationwide.
ARIP has a total paid-up capital of THB112.6 million (approx. USD3.75 million), consisting of 312 million existing common shares and 138.4 million shares from its capital increase, with a par value of THB0.25 each. At its initial public offering on November 22-24, the company raised THB124.56 million (approx. USD4.15 million), by offering 138.4 million shares at THB0.90 per share to the general public. The funds raised will be used for developing media business, expanding exhibition business, and adding to working capital. Finansia Syrus Securities PCL was its financial advisor and underwriter.
ARIP’s P/E ratio at its IPO price was at 11.66 times, based on a net profit of THB0.08 per share, which calculated from the company’s net profits in 12 months (October 1, 2009- September 30, 2010) of THB 34.76 million and divided by total shares after IPO of 450.40 million shares.
ARIP’s dividend payment policy was to pay out no less than 50% of net profits according to the company’s separate financial statements after taxes and legal reserves. ARIP’s major shareholders are Mr. Min Intanate, Apsilon Ventures Pte.ltd., and Mr. Veera Sitsuksai who hold 47.86% , 20.74 % and 0.51% respectively, of total shares after the IPO.
