Mexican company Telmex Internacional will start trading on LATIBEX as from June 10th, the company having received the authorisations necessary to list on the market. Telmex Internacional’s trading code will be “XTII” and its trading unit will comprise 20 shares.
Santander Investment Bolsa will act as specialist for the stock, offering bid and ask positions at any time and providing liquidity.
With the incorporation of Telmex Internacional LATIBEX increases its offering of Mexican stocks to 10 companies from different sectors. The stock will join the FTSE Latibex Top the moment it starts trading.
Telmex Internacional was created after Telmex’s shareholders approved a strategic initiative to split Telmex’s corporate structure into two independent telephony companies, namely, Telmex and Telmex Internacional. The latter deals with operations outside Mexico.
Telmex Internacional operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay.
The stock will start trading on LATIBEX as of June 10th at 16:00 hrs, when it begins trading on the Mexican stock exchange.
