ITRS Group plc, the leading global provider of predictive, real-time monitoring and proactive application performance management products to the world’s financial community, announced a number of staff changes today and a new development centre in Manila.
Quintin Gomez has been appointed CTO and Head of Product Management and Development, responsible for all aspects of product management and product development. He will lead the product marketing, development and testing groups in London and the newly-established development centre in Manila. Gomez comes to ITRS Group from Silicon Valley, where he spent the last fifteen years working with a number of leading financial industry technology and service firms, including consumer and corporate banking specialist Intuit. Prior to joining Intuit, Quintin was with Midas-Kapiti, Europe, in charge of the global development effort for a number of market-leading front-office trading and banking solutions. In his role of CTO he takes over from Misha Kipnis who, as of April 1st, has become Director Technical Strategy and Architecture (see 16 February announcement).
Kevin Covington, CEO of ITRS Group, said: “We are delighted that Quintin joins us as we enter an exciting and demanding phase in our growth, at a time when we are investing in additional headcount in both London and a new development centre in Manila. Quintin’s excellent track record and industry expertise make him the ideal CTO for taking ITRS forward.”
Quintin Gomez says: “I have been following the development of ITRS and its products over the last few years and have always been very impressed with its innovation, use of technology and rapid growth. It has established a significant global client base, and the specialist focus and expertise it provides to financial institutions is unique. I am very pleased to be part of the ITRS team, and look forward to working with its clients and staff.”
ITRS Development Centre - Manila
As ITRS expands and software development and innovation continues apace, ITRS has set up an ancillary development and support centre in the Philippines for testing new software, providing additional support and responding to requests for individual client development projects.
Phil Sales has been appointed Senior Development Manager and will lead the Manila team, reporting to Quintin Gomez.

At the same time ITRS is announcing a number of other promotions and staff changes. Nick Pike takes up the position of European Sales Manager, responsible for leading sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa, while Rob Freeman returns to ITRS as Business Development Director for Global Services.
Covington commented: “We are growing rapidly and it is vital that we utilise our staff in the most effective positions to continue to move ahead. I am confident that Quintin, Nick, Rob and Phil will quickly settle into their new roles and bring enormous benefits to the entire ITRS team.”
