Exegy, Inc., the market data appliance company, announced today a new ground-breaking product — Data Tone — based on the Exegy Ticker Plant. It is now possible for traders to access market data via Data Tone at $1000 per connection.
Exegy’s Data Tone Ticker Plant is located in Secaucus, Weehawken and Chicago. Market data is included in the price, excluding normal exchange user fees.
Scott Parsons, Chief Architect and Chief Scientist at Exegy said, “We remodeled the Exegy Ticker Plant to make it possible for individual users to take single connections from the same system. By including the market data, we have turned the old market data distribution model on its head.”
“The locations are trading hubs for BATS, Direct Edge, BOX, ISE, C2, the CME and CBOE, so we expect to see a lot of demand as people review their data costs when they move into the new liquidity hubs,” added Parsons.
Exegy’s Data Tone is offered in two packages — Data Tone and Data Tone High Speed. The market data vendor of record is Essex Radez.
