Tourism sector 147,61 Trading sector 38,75 Building Materials and Construction sector 59,20, Information Technology 13,35, Financial Services 31,26, Fish Culture 41,28, Hotels with 100,84, and finally the Other Companies sector with 187,47 points.
Market Capitalization
The total market capitalisation (shares) reached £4.676 billion from £5.033 billion the previous month registering a decrease of 7,10%. According to this month results the Banking sector accounted for 33,77% of the total market capitalisation, the Other Companies sector 14,65%, and the Tourism sector 4,81%. The Trading sector 4,53%, the Manufacturing sector 6,67%, the Approved Investment Companies sector 5,94%, the Insurance sector 0,89%, the Building and Materials and Construction sector 3,91%, the Information Technology sector 3,36%, the Financial Services sector 11,05%, the Fish Culture sector 0,58%, and finally Hotels sector with 10,37% respectively, of the total market capitalisation. Moreover the total market capitalisation including the Corporate and Government bonds decrease to £6.265 billion compared to £6.556 billion at the previous month registering a decrease of 4,44%.
Transactions
The total value of transactions during the month in review reached £140 million with an average of £6,3 million per trading session. The Other Companies Sector contributed 26,35% of the total value traded, which was the highest, whereas the Corporate Bonds had the lowest contribution with 0.03%.
Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of "L.K.Globalsoft.Com Ltd" and "Aqua Sol Hotels Ltd" with 10,38% and 9,18% respectively.
