The index will be made up of 118 stocks, one fewer than in the previous half
The Indice General de la Bolsa de Madrid (IGBM) Management Committee has decided, in accordance with technical provisions for the composition, calculation and sectoral division of the IGBM index family, to approve the composition of the IGBM and Indice Total indices for the first half of 2011.
Based on trading volume and market capitalisation criteria, the new composition of the IGBM is as follows: the index is to add 2 stocks while 3 will be excluded from the index. The IGBM and Indice Total will comprise 118 shares during the first half of 2011.
The index inclusions and exclusions are as follows:
STOCKS INCLUDED IN THE INDEX
Enel Green Power S.A, as a new listed stock as of 4 November 2010.
La Seda de Barcelona S.A., having complied with the listing criteria and after it resumed trading on 5 July 2010.
STOCKS EXCLUDED FROM THE INDEX
Banco Guipuzcoano S.A,, delisted on 26 November 2010 following acquisition by Banco Sabadell.
Indo Internacional S.A. due to suspension of trading as of 18 June 2010.
C.V.N.E. S.A., for not complying with criteria for inclusion in the index
Definitive weightings of sectors, subsectors and stocks will be made public on the Bolsa de Madrid website, (www.bolsamadrid.es), after the close of the market, on 30 December 2010.
