Merrill Lynch Establishes Commodities Trading Platform In Oslo
Merrill Lynch today announced it has established an office in Oslo, Norway, focused on commodities trading. A team of three trading professionals have relocated from Merrill Lynch in London and will be responsible for expanding the firm’s existing coverage of Nordic power markets.

Deutsche Börse To Provide Information On European Directors’ Dealings - Verified, Standardized Data On Directors’ Transactions Available
As of 1 September, Deutsche Börse will be extending its data service to include information on European Directors’ Dealings (EDD). Market Data & Analytics will then be the only provider to publish these information in one consolidated product. Transactions in a stock corporation’s shares conducted by its executive and supervisory boards as well as their family members will be collated, adjusted, verified and then made available in a standardized format.

UK Government Focuses On Supply Chains In Response To New CDP Initiative - Government Acknowledges Need For Collaboration
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a collaboration of some 385 institutional investors including Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Barclays and HSBC, has extended its traditional work in the private sector to the public sector where it is actively assisting Government and local government organisations to assess greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through their supply chains.
