NYSE To Suspend Trading In CIT Group Inc. And Related Securities - Moves To Remove From The List
NYSE Regulation, Inc. (“NYSE Regulation”) announced today that it determined that the common stock of CIT Group Inc. (the “Company”) – ticker symbol CIT – as well as the 3 related listed securities below, should be suspended prior to the market opening on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

The Options Industry Council Announces Trading Volume On Pace For Record Year Despite October Decline
The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that 330,432,938 total options contracts changed hands in October. This represents a 12.1 percent decline compared to October 2008, which saw the most contracts traded in a month ever when 375,934,882 contracts were traded.

Average Daily Volume Of 10.4 Million Contracts At Eurex And ISE In October
At the international derivatives markets of Eurex, an average daily volume of 10.4 million contracts was traded in October 2009; y-o-y the figure was 14.3 million due to the turbulence of the financial crisis. This year’s figure splits into 6.4 million contracts traded at Eurex (Oct 2008: 9.9 million) and 4.0 million contracts were traded at the International Securities Exchange (ISE) (Oct 2008: 4.4 million). International Securities Exchange Reports Monthly Volume For October 2009
The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today reported average daily volume of 4.0 million contracts in October 2009. Average daily trading volume for all options contracts decreased 10.5% to 4.0 million contracts in October as compared to 4.4 million contracts during the same period in 2008. Total options volume for the month decreased 14.4% to 87.2 million contracts from 102.0 million contracts in the same year-ago period.

116 Billion Euros Turnover At Deutsche Börse’s Cash Market In October - 15 Million Trades Executed On Xetra - Total Volume Of 130 Billion Euros Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In October, 115.6 billion euros were traded on Xetra® and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – a decrease of 57 percent year-on-year (October 2008: 270.3 billion euros). Of the 115.6 billion euros, 108.0 billion euros were traded on Xetra, a decrease of 58 percent year-on-year (October 2008: 255.1 billion euros). 7.5 billion euros were traded on the floor.

Exegy’s Low Latency Now Available For Canada’s Pure Trading
Exegy Incorporated, the ultra-high performance market data appliance company, has announced that the Exegy Ticker Plant now has built-in feed handlers to process data from the Pure Trading facility of CNSX Markets Inc.
