UK's Financial Services Authority Prohibition Of Andrew Greystoke And £400,000 Fine On Him And Atlantic Law LLP For Aiding Multi-Million Pound Boiler Room Share Scam Upheld
The Financial Services and Markets Tribunal has upheld a Financial Services Authority (FSA) decision permanently banning Andrew Greystoke from working in any capacity in financial services and fining him and Atlantic Law LLP (Atlantic Law), an FSA-regulated law firm of which he is senior partner, a total of £400,000.

Security Traders Association Statement On May 6
We think it's pretty clear after last Thursday, that there needs to be uniform standards regarding circuit breakers, stock halts and the procedure for cancelling trades. HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Hong Kong And China Gas Futures
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 14 May 2010, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. JSE To Introduce CBOT Soya Bean Commodity Derivatives
The JSE is to introduce cash-settled soybean, soymeal and soybean oil derivative contracts based on CBOT settlement prices licensed from CME Group, the world’s largest and most diverse derivatives marketplace. The new products will allow local farmers, processors and importers to hedge their price risk against the international benchmarks. These contracts will be listed, traded and settled by the JSE, starting Monday 17 May 2010.
