CESR Updates The List Of Measures Recently Taken By Members Regarding Short-Selling.
CESR published on 22 September 2008 a statement that facilitates an overview of actions taken by CESR Members in relation to short-selling. The statement paper includes either the statements or links to the statements published by CESR Members explaining the measures taken. This paper is not a comparison of the measures taken.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Monthly Statistics - August 2010
August 2009, though it represented a marked increase over last month's trading. Average daily volume for this period was 4.40 million contracts. Trading turnover totaled CNY 5.156 trillion, an increase of 8.93% over August 2009.

SEC Adopts Temporary Rule Requiring Municipal Advisors To Register With Agency
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it has adopted a temporary rule requiring municipal advisors to register with the SEC by October 1, a deadline established by the newly-enacted Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

National Stock Exchange Releases August 2010 ETF/ETN Data Report
National Stock Exchange, Inc. (NSX®) announced that assets in U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) and Exchange-Traded Notes (ETN) totaled approximately $814.8 billion at August 2010 month-end, an increase of approximately 21% over August 2009 month-end when assets totaled $672.3 billion. At the end of August 2010, the number of listed products reached 1046, with 437 ETFs/ETNs posting > $100 million in Assets Under Management (AUM).

SEC Charges New Jersey Investment Adviser In Multi-Million Dollar Offering Fraud
The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged a Branchburg, N.J.-based investment adviser and three of her firms with operating a multi-million dollar offering fraud involving the sale of phony promissory notes to investors, many of whom are retired or unsophisticated in investments.

Warsaw Stock Exchange: Life Science Index To Mark 3 Years Of NewConnect
On 30 August 2010 NewConnect, the fastest growing international alternative equities market in Europe, will celebrate its 3rd anniversary. In Spring 2010 the WSE introduced the NewConnect Lead segment; two companies from NC Lead migrated to the WSE Main List since then. The WSE is launching the Life Science Index, incorporating medical and biotechnological companies listed on NewConnect.

ICE Reports 19% ADV Futures Growth For August 2010 - $11.5 Trillion Cleared In CDS
IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, today reported strong futures volume growth for August 2010. Average daily volume (ADV) for ICE's futures markets was 1,197,848 contracts, up 19% from August 2009.
