NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for July 2010[1]. Trading volumes experienced double-digit growth across most venues in July 2010 compared to the prior year period, but declined from June 2010 levels. Global derivatives average daily volume (“ADV”) increased 17.5% to 7.1 million contracts traded per day in July 2010. RTS Brings More Opportunities For Investing On RTS Standard
Starting from August 5, 2010 OJSC RTS is introducing more opportunities for investing on the cash equity market RTS Standard. Japan’s Financial Services Agency Publishes The Status Of Loans Held By All Banks As Of End-March 2010, Based On The Financial Reconstruction Act
1. Loans based on the Financial Reconstruction Act (FRA) The total amount of loans held by all banks as of end-March 2010, based on the definition in the FRA(Act No.132 of 1998), is 11.7 trillion yen. The figure decreased by 0.2 trillion yen from 12.0 trillion yen as of end-March 2009.

The Director General of SEC Ms. Arunma Oteh issued a press statement on August 5, 2010 on the crisis that erupted at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In the state she stated that “given the critical period of transition that the Exchange is currently facing, the SEC has determined that it would be imprudent to leave the Council without a designated leader”.
